The Federal Aviation Administration, System Approach to Safety Oversight (SASO) Program Office has engaged LinkVisum to support the Flight Standards (AFS) workforce in the transition to a new Safety Assurance System. The work includes training design, facilitation, communications support, acquisition support, program management, and process improvement. LinkVisum is designing and developing instructor-led and Web-based training courses as well as a national Point of Contact program for the entire AFS workforce. LinkVisum has been engaged to support the development and execution of a business and data consolidation effort for AFS legacy applications. This consolidated business integration effort and process improvement work involves conducting an analysis of existing business processes and their associated information technology components to determine which processes and applications can be effectively integrated to meet the current and future needs of AFS. The contract was awarded September 8, 2014.
