Federal Aviation Administration – SASO Program Office
- Change Management
- Organizational Development
The Flight Standards Service (AFS) promotes safe air transportation by setting the standards for the certification and oversight of airmen, air operators, air agencies, and designees. Under AFS, the System Approach for Safety Oversight (SASO) Program Office has been focused on the development and implementation of the Safety Assurance System (SAS) to provide an enhanced, risk-based, data-driven approach to safety oversight. The transition to this new operating environment will present technological and process-based changes to the way oversight is conducted in AFS, as well as cultural changes throughout the organization.
LinkVisum has supported the SASO Program Office in various capacities since 2004, including supporting the SASO Program Office through all phases of its change management work and working closely with other contractors that support the SASO Program Office. The change management work includes: outreach and communication activities; developing obstacle mitigation strategies to support the transition to SAS; implementation support; and designing, developing and delivering training.
