LinkVisum teamed with Belinda Jackson, owner of Picture It Possible, to capture key elements from our facilitation with our client’s executive team. The facilitation with the executive team included a prioritization exercise and a brainstorming of actions key to implementing transformative improvements to operations. These improvements were intentioned to support the ever-widening responsibilities bestowed by Congress and help the workforce obtain the tools and processes for delivering the priorities and mission in the future.
Ms. Jackson listened attentively to our facilitated discussion and captured the resources needed, the obstacles that might impact implementation and the first steps for action. She then graphically depicted the resources, obstacles and first steps in a truly impactful and memorable manner. Upon her reveal to the audience at the end of the session, the executive team sat up and leaned in, and they expressed amazement and delight about the graphic depictions of the top six improvements. These graphics were approved by the executive team to be presented back to the workforce in each of the offices that provided input to the initial operations assessment over the past year. Ideally these creative graphics will serve as powerful guideposts as these improvements are implemented over the next two years. And more importantly, these creative depictions provide validation that employees’ voices are heard, that their input matters and that the agency leaders are supportive of the transformative operational changes identified.
